For travel enthusiasts, just going somewhere isn’t enough. For me, the little details matter and I think Kiran’s effort to promote sensitive, ethical tourism is commendable. So I jumped at the chance to travel with ‘Birdsong and Beyond’ on their maiden trip to Anandpur Sahib and the Bhakra Dam in the lush environs of rural Punjab. The well-planned itinerary, the insights, the quaint historic fort where we stayed, were all put together professionally, but with a very warm, personal touch. I enjoyed the camaraderie we developed as a group and was truly relaxed and carefree through the trip. Thank you, Kiran!

Holidays with Kiran are always off the beaten path, refreshing and inspiring. I have always experienced much more than my expectation. Adventure and relaxation at the same time. What I really like is the authenticity, seeing the true place that one visits, the people and the foods. Kiran has this gift of picking the perfect places that really touch one’s heart and soul.

Birds Song perched in a serene corner of Guniyala village offers a spectacular view of the snow-capped mountains and lush green forest. It is an ideal place to spend time if you want to seek a communion with nature untouched and unspoilt at the same time also experience life in a small quite village in a cottage with those little comforts in the tough winters. Not to mention the long drive along the rivers Ganga, Manadakini, Alaknanda and the confluence of rivers at various points which never ceases to amaze me.
